Holiday Spaghetti Dinner

It’s time for one of our most popular gatherings of the year! The annual Holiday Celebration features a delicious all-you-can eat spaghetti dinner provided by the Democrats of Comal County, as well as music, games, and camraderie. Tickets are $25 for adults; $15 for students and children under 18. We’ll have good food, great company, fun games, and an ornament exchange!

Not So Beautiful for the Rest of Us
Congressional Republicans delivered a budget bill to the President, that he signed into law. This terrible bill will:
- Remove 17 million Americans–including 1.7 million Texans from their health insurance
- Endanger health programs and hospital access for rural Americans families
- Drastically reduce access to Medicare and other safety net programs for American families who count on it
- Eliminate food assistance to at least 3 million Americans who need it, and take away school meals from more than 18 million American children who will go hungry without them
- Make a recession more likely for all of us and keep inflation high for you and your family
- Raise costs for you and your family
All of this will be paid for by adding up to $6 trillion to the US deficit, and the only people who benefit from this bill will be billionaires and corporations, who will receive millions of dollars in tax cuts.
This “big beautiful bill” that is part of the “make America great” campaign promise of this President is one of the most hated pieces of legislation since 1990, and it will harm many more people than it will help. It is neither beautiful nor great, and we intend to hold the Republican law makers who voted for it responsible for the closed rural hospitals, higher health care costs, and increased poverty levels in Comal County that will result from this bill.
Texas families deserve better.

Donald Trump ran on a platform of “making America great” by improving the economy, lowering the cost of groceries, ending inflation and strengthening our ties in the world.
